Why there are no rules for style

A list of things you'd probably never wear would likely include a double-breasted black suit with a slim shawl collar, a pocket square the same colour as your jacket, a collarless shirt under a suit, and a gold bangle. Well meet Michael T. Nartey of Norway's T-Michael fame, shown above left doing all of these things at the same time and looking like a million kroner. There are a couple of lessons in here. First, that there really are no rules; someone somewhere will always render them irrelevant. And second, that fewer things are more important than knowing who you are in determining what you can wear.

Right: Bonus photo of Michael from Beyond Boston Chic because he's an all-around sartorial badass.
