The lightweight scarves of fall 2013

As summer gives way to fall, the first transitional piece you reach for may very well be the lightweight scarf—enough to keep your neck warm without an outer layer but not too bulky to stuff in your bag once you get where you're going. While there's nothing wrong with making an investment in a nicer lightweight scarf, there's never a shortage of good cheaper options with interesting textures, patterns and materials. Given a choice you'd rather have a few in different styles.
