Mini Countryman All4

As big fans of rallying we were all disappointed when Audi declined to offer their A1 compact with quattro all-wheel drive, missing a real opportunity to differentiate themselves in an increasingly crowded market. And while the Mini Countryman All4 isn't quite the same idea—it has 4 doors and is 6" longer—it's still a small AWD car that looks and feels totally European. A little vulgar with the door badge and that angled panel from the wheel well to the windshield, but we dig the heck out of it. With the 6-speed Getrag manual and a 181hp turbo 4, it should be a ton of fun. (Or would that be a "tonne"?)
