The online made-to-measure shirt market is a crowded one, but the introductory offer from Luxire had to be investigated—a shirt built to the buyer's specifications, including special requests, for $59 inclusive, shipped free in 5 days. Most of the fabrics available are staple blues, whites, basic stripes and checks. Our test shirt specified a heavy twill and an unfused collar, and the delivered product is pretty damn nice—a luxurious fabric, great stitching all around, split yoke, and some heavy duty steel collar stays that are probably banned from carry-on luggage. As a bonus, the Fedex tracking on this shirt was a gripping adventure in itself as it made its way from Bangalore to Mumbai, through Dubai and Paris before crossing the Atlantic. If you're prepared to accept the fact that your shirt is rolling around the world like James F**king Bond while you're stuck behind a desk, check 'em out.
