Brick By Brick

Earlier this month we noted the great colour of LEC's new waxed cotton jacket, and it keeps growing on us. You might never even think of adding a pure red to your wardrobe, and we wouldn't blame you, but consider the rather more sophisticated range of brick hues. By mixing a little orange or brown into a less saturated red, the resulting colour is not only less bright but a lot more neutral. We're really liking this for fall. Shown left to right: Zara double-breasted coat [$249]. L.L.Bean Signature Canvas Cloth Pant [$69]. J.Crew Cashmere V-Neck [$198].
