American Look: the classic love letter to mid-century design
Look, guys, Christina Hendricks is never going to take her top off, so there's no reason to keep watching "Mad Men" unless you have trouble falling asleep on Sunday nights. "But wait", you protest, "I like looking at mid-century furniture and design, and I don't feel like taking a second mortgage in order to shop at the ironically-named Design Within Reach." Fortunately we have the real thing with the classic short film American Look, a series of "beauty shots" of 1958-era modernism, packed with all of the Eames, Bertoia, and Mies you could ever want.
